Hi everybody, today I going to talk about leeches in my country. In Colombia, the hirudotherapy (treatment with leeches) is not very commun. But it exist. I hope that I do not have to use it because in my opinion is too disgusting!! I had no idea about this kind of treatments so I researched and found that in some places there are treatments that do the same that make the leeches but with an artificial leech. So, if I have an affliction and I need a leech treatment, I definitly prefer to use the artificial one!!!

Hello everybody! This week I going to talk about video games. For me this kind of games are a good but like all things in excess is bad that people will be addict to them. I believe that is good have it like an option of entertaiment apart of others activities. I think that its ok that children play once or twice in the week, but not all the time. I'm sure that the kids can develop new abilities and to
have better motor skills. For example when my brother was young played a lot of videogames. He now is a musician (The best musician for me) and he thinks that games helped to developed his brain and his abilities like copositor and musician.

Hello! Today I going to continue talking about etiquette in the public transportation. In my country is really unpleasant to ride the public transportation because it's always crowded. I think that the New York's subway is less pleasant than the subway in other cities because people don't care to be careful with it. In the movies looks neglected and is riding by rude people.
I don't thing that we need more police to make people more polite or more rules to make people more polite. I definitely thing that we just need to remember our manners and teach them to the kids.

Post #5 Polite or no polite?
Today I gonna talk about etiquette and being polite. In my country are a lot of rules. I think that are the same rules than here but there no everybody follow them. For example is banned to eat on buses but some people do it. I hate when people eat food that smell bad. Also I hate when people listen music aloud (worse if is bad music). I feel good here in Canada because the most people is polite. I always try to follow the rules , especially here because isn't my country. I think that is important to teach the children to follow these rules. Not only on the public transportation. In all places and in all situations too.

Post # 4 My Lovely Long Weekend!
This long weekend I went with my boyfriend to Vancouver. That city is marvelous! We left the friday early in the morning. He drove 10 hours. Finally we arrived on Friday night and we went for a walk on Robson Street. We stayed in a hotel on that street. Saturday morning we rented bikes and we visited Stanley park. I liked that park because it's giant! In the afternoon we watched The Gastown Stream Clock. That is one of the most important tourist attractions in the city. In the night we went to dinner in a fantastic restaurant. Sunday morning we went to Granville Island Public Market to have breakfast and was delicious! And in the afternoon we went to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. And in the night we went to shopping in Metropolis Mall. And we came back on Monday. I really like traveling with my boyfriend. He always makes me very happy!!!

Post # 3 Almost victim of a crime!
I wasn't the victim of a crime, I committed a crime.... Hahahaha just kidding... Actually I wasn't the victim of a crime but almost. I gonna tell you!
One day I was with two friends in an area where there wasn't many people and we had to pass a bridge. So we up the stairs and when we are walking on the bridge, one man on bike passed and stopped. When I realized of that, I looked behind and I saw another man on bike. We are trapped between the two men!
So the first man took out a knife and said to us: "Give me all your money and your belongings" (In a really bad tone). I was very nervous because in my bag had my computer and my phone. I couldn't let they stole my things! So I took courage, I said to him some bad words and I pushed him. After that I shouted : RUN GIRLS! And we ran stairs down really fast. Fortunately we took a bus passing by and they can't catch us.
This pic was the same day before the story that I told you.

Post # 2 MONEY MONEY MONEY
Hello everyone!
Today I'll talk about the bills in my country, and I'll compare some of the costs between Colombia and Canada. In Colombia we use six different bills. We have bills of 1.000, 2.000, 5.000, 10.000, 20.000 and 50.000 pesos. One Canadian dollar equals two thousand Colombian pesos. In my opinion Canadian bills are more beautiful that Colombian ones. The paper is more special and have a better ink.
In Colombia the restaurants are cheaper than here in Canada. If you want go out to eat a normal lunch, that can cost you six hundred Colombian pesos. It's approximately three Canadian Dollars. In Canada is more expensive the transportation and the grocery than in Colombia, but the gas is cheaper and the quality is better.
In general is more expensive life here, but I love this country!
I hope to live here for a long time!
I leave an ABBA's song that talk about this topic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCkOmcIl79s
